nieuwe kippetjes - new chickens

Het is mommy d'r verjaardag en daddy heeft nieuwe kippetjes gekocht.
Sinds de eendjes zijn vermist is 't maar stil achter in de tuin.
Daddy had 4 bruine leg kippen besteld, maar toen ie ze op ging halen waren ze per ongeluk aan iemand anders verkocht en hadden ze alleen nog maar zwarte kippen.
Omdat daddy geen tijd had om andere te vinden had ie ze toch maar genomen, maar in plaats van 4 maar 3.
It's Mommy's birthday and daddy bought her new chickens.
Every since the ducks have gone missing it has been empty in the backyard.
Daddy ordered 4 red hen's, but the man accidentally sold them and only had black ones left.
Because daddy didn't have time to look for others he settled with the black ones, but only got 3 instead of 4.

Daddy heeft ook een legkast voor ze gebouwd en Broc helpt mommy met 't klaar maken zodat de kippetjes lekker zacht kunnen zitten.
Daddy also build them a nesting box and Broc helps mummy setting it up.
Lot's of mulch so they sit nice and soft.

Mommy is zo blij met de kippetjes ze vind zwart veel mooier dan bruin en houd wel van oneven nummers dus daddy heeft 't per ongeluk goed gedaan.
Nu moeten ze nog een naam en Broc en daddy hadden samen al wat bedacht K.F.C. maar daar is mommy nog niet zo weg van.
Mommy was so happy with them and likes black much better then red and loves uneven numbers better then evens so it all turned out just fine.
Now we have to give them names, Broc and daddy thought of some already; K.F.C. mommy is not to sure about that.

Omdat mommy jarig is mag zij kiezen wat we eten en ze wil graag naar de chinese. Oom en tante Goudje zijn d'r ook dus die gaan gezellig mee.
Broc wil langs mommy zitten en vind z'n gefriteerde noodles wel erg leuk om mee te spelen.
Mommy is aloud to choose what she wants for dinner and she wants Chinese so that's were we going, uncle and aunty gold are in Warwick and they are coming with us.
Broc want's to sit next to mommy and is having fun with his deep fried noodles.

Daddy blijft maar foto's nemen van ons dus gaan we gekke bekken trekken.
Daddy keeps taking photo's so we giving him silly faces to take pictures off.

Als toetje wil Broc een vol bord met jelly, daar lust ie wel pap van.
Highlight of dinner is the jelly, Broc can't get enough of it.

Van een vol buikje word je erg moe en Broc wil wat kijken op de tablet terwijl mommy en daddy nog wat doorkletsen met de Goudjes.
With a full tummy Broc watches a show on mommy's tablet while mommy and daddy talk to the Goldie's a bit more.

wat zit d'r in m'n shoentje - what's that in my shoe

Broc kwam aanrennen naar mommy in de kamer na z'n slaapje met een brief in z'n hand, Sinterklaas komt vanavond zegt ie.
Die slimme sinterklaas, heeft ie een brief getekend zodat Broc weet dat ie vanavond langs komt en dat ie z'n schoen moet zetten.
After Broc's afternoon sleep he came running in the living room with a letter. He said sinterklaas is coming tonight.
Sinterklaas drew Broc a letter to explain that he was coming and Broc has to put out his shoe.

Voordat Broc naar bed gaat zet ie wat water en een wortel klaar voor 't paard.
Als Broc lekker ligt te slapen komt d'r een klein pakje bij te liggen :)
Before Broc goes to bed he puts some water and a carrot next to his shoes for the horse.

s'Morgens komt ie de kamer in rennen, mommy mommy, sinterklaas is geweest.
Snel pakt ie 't uit.
The next morning he comes running in the room and yells: "mommy mommy sinterklaas left me a present".
Quickly he opens it.

Zo benieuwd, wat zal d'r toch in zitten.
So curious, what would it be.

Een auto, maar Broc heeft 't meteen al gezien dit is geen gewone auto dit is Bumblebee. Broc's favourite transformer.
A car, but that's not a normal car and Broc sees it straight away. It is Bumblebee, Broc's favourite transformer.

Een paar dagen later komt de postman ook nog een pakje brengen.
Van wie zou dit nou toch zijn.
A couple days later the mail man comes and brings a packet for Broc as well.
Wonder who send this.

Een verlaat verjaardags cadeautje van opa en oma.
It's a late birthday present from opa and oma.

Broc is zo blij met z'n Avengers, hulk en iron man.
Broc is so happy with his Avengers, hulk and iron man.

gezellige Woensdag - happy Wednesday

Broc vind 't helemaal niet erg om mee naar mommy's werk te gaan, vooral niet als ze niet volgeboekt is.
Een lege tafel blijft nooit niet lang leeg, want dan wil Broc wel een behandeling.
Hij weet precies hoe ie d'r bij moet liggen.
Broc doesn't mind at all to come to work with mommy, specially if there is a tabel available for treatment.
He climbs on and yells out he want's a treatment as well. When mommy walks in he is ready to go.

Later komt Will ook en blijft ie gezellig bij ons spelen.
Eerst gaan we even wat boodschappen halen en ze doen mommy goed helpen.
Later in the morning Will comes over to spend de day with us.
When we finished work we have to get some groceries first and the boys are keen to help.

Omdat ze alletwee zo lief zijn en 't een lekkere warme dag is gaan we gezellig zwemmen.
Broc is de dapperste niet in 't water en mommy hoopt dat als ie Will in water ziet springen hij 't zelf misschien ook gaat doen.
Because they both been so good and it's a nice day we are going for a swim
Broc is not the bravest cookie and mommy is hoping that he tag along with Will in the water.

Het plannetje werkt niet Broc blijft nog steeds aan de kant hangen, maar hij laat in ieder geval mommy wel los en heeft een hoop plezier.
Mommy's plan failed he is still not letting go of the wall or going into deeper water, but he is letting go of mommy and he is having a blast.

Dat weekend met de zwemles is ie wel wat meer ontspannen in 't water.
But that weekend at swimming lessons he seems a lot more relaxed.

En de Kanwel's komen gezellig fish en chips eten s'avonds. 
And the Canwel's are coming over for some fish and chips.

verjaardag feestje - birthday party

Eindelijk is 't dan zover, Broc z'n verjaardags feestje.
De party bags zitten vol met snoep en speelgoed.
Finally the day has come, Broc's birthday party.
The party bags are filled with lollies and little gifts.

Ome en tante Klomp hebben een monstertruck op afstands bediening voor hem gekocht.
Nog wel de Gravedigger z'n favouriet.
Kei skon, lighten, geluid en gaat hij goed snel en makkelijk over 't gras
Uncle and Aunty clog bought a remote control Monster truck. Broc's favourite the Gravedigger.
It's the best ever, it has lights, sounds and it goes super fast and easy over the grass.

Natuurlijk mocht Broc ook vriendjes uitnodigen en z'n 2 beste maatjes van school waren ook van de party.
Broc invited some friends and his 2 best mates from school came to help him party.

Toen was 't cadeautjes tijd en mocht ie al z'n cadeautjes uitpakken.
Nu heeft ie bijna alle monstertrucks en jumps die te koop zijn hij is over the moon.
Present time, OMG I think Broc has just about every monstertruck and jump that is for sale in his collection now he is over the moon.

We hebben ook Broc's lucht kasteel opgezet en daar word ook druk gebruik van gemaakt.
The aircastle was up and running as well there was lots of things to do for everyone.

Toen was 't tijd voor de Pinata. Ben benieuwd hoe lang ie t volhoud.
Broc kreeg de eerste mep, maar was een beetje verlegen dus daddy helpte hem even.
Pinata time. Wonder how long he is going to last.
Broc got to give him the first puch, but he was a bit shy so daddy helped him a little.

Iedereen had een paar keer kunnen meppen, dat ding was ietsiepietsie te hard voor deze kleine mannen, maar uiteindelijk zat d'r dan toch een gat in en daddy besloot om 'm boven in 't boomhuis uit mekaar te trekken.
The pinata was a bit to hard for those little people, but at least every one had a couple of goes. Finally after someone hit a hole in it daddy climbed in the tree house to pull it apart for everyone to fetch the lollies.

Toen was 't tijd voor de cake
Cake time.

Gelukkig hield Bitzer wat vuurwerk vast want voor de kaarsjes waaide 't te hard, die bleven niet aan.
De schaap toren was te zwaar en viel bijna om, dus mommy trok de beentjes van 't onderste schaap af zodat ie wel bleef staan.
Lucky Bitzer was holding some fireworks, because the wind was blowing to hard for the candles.
The sheep tower was to havy and sunk into the icing and almost fell over, but after mommy pulled the bottom's sheep's legs off the all stayed put.

Broc wilde Shaun z'n ballonnen opeten, maar die zijn echt dus dat doen we maar beter niet.
Broc wanted to eat Shaun's balloons, but they were real so better not.

Dan Shaun zelf maar.
Next choice Shaun himself.

Alle andere kinderen konden ook een figuurtje van de taart afhalen om lekker op te eten.
All the other kids could come over and pick one of the figurines for themself to eat.

Broc's best friend had 't mooi bekeken die pakte 't dikke schaap.
Broc's best mate grabbed the big fat scheep on the bottom. sugar hit here we come.

Dat was een geslaagd feestje.

Nog meer cadeautjes - more presents

Een paar dagen na Broc z'n verjaardag komt poppy.
Hij blijft gezellig 5 dagen bij ons slapen en als ie s'avonds aan komt heeft ie Broc z'n cadeautje bij.
Het is een erg groot pakket en vol enthousiasme scheurt Broc 't papier d'r af.
A couple of days after Broc's birthday poppy comes over to stay for a few days.
That night when he arrives Broc gets to unpack his present.
It's a big present and Broc can't wait to see what is inside.

Een Lightning McQueen koffer, net wat ie nodig had. Z'n eigen koffer voor als we weg gaan en een met wieltjes zodat ie 'm zelf kan voort trekken.
A Lightning McQueen port, just what Broc needed for when we go away.
And it has wheels so he can pull it himself.

He maar wacht eens ff als Broc de koffer open doet zit d'r nog meer in.
Een monsterjam backpack en lunch bag, aswum.
Oh wait, when Broc opens his port there is more inside.

Maar we zijn d'r nog niet, Aunty music heeft voor Broc een cadeautje achtergelaten laatste keer dat ze in 't land was en poppy heeft 't netjes bewaard om 't met z'n verjaardag te geven.
It just keeps coming, Aunty music has left a present for Brocie at poppies place and he brought that with him as well.

Een doos vol met light in the dark sticks.
We doen 't light uit en dan knappen we d'r een zodat ie 't doet.
En dan heeft Broc een lightgevende armband. Helemaal leuk.

So we turn the light off, brake one and make it into a braclet.

Broc's is 4 - Turning 4

Vandaag word Broc al vroeg wakker gemaakt. Het is z'n verjaardag en mommy en daddy moeten alletwee werken.
Hij mag z'n cadeautje in mommy's en daddy's bed uit pakken.
Today it's early day for Broc it's his birthday and mommy and daddy want to give him his present before they go to work.

Monsterjam auto's en een monsterjam jump. Wat een succes hij is d'r hartstikke blij mee.
Gelukkig kan ie d'r nog even mee spelen voordat we moeten gaan.
Monsterjam truck's and a jump. What a success he loves it and luckily it's early enough so he can play with them before we have to go

Omdat ie vandaag naar Kindy gaat hebben we tractaties gemaakt.
Natuurlijk houden we 't thema Shaun het Schaap aan en hebben we lekkere muffins voor iedereen gemaakt.
Because Broc goes to kindy today we made treats for all the kids in his class and of course his teachers.

Gisteren had ie getrakteerd bij z'n kinderdag verblijf moeder waar ie ook 1x per weer heen gaat en omdat daar wat gluten vrije kinderen zijn hebben we ook gluten vrije traktaties gemaakt.
He took treat's yesterday as well when he went to Christine his daycare mom.
Because some people are allergic to gluten there we also made some gluten free treats.

Als mommy en daddy afgewerkt zijn pikken we Broc op en nemen hem mee naar 't zwembad dat vind ie kei leuk.
After work mommy and daddy pick up Broc and take him to the swimming pool.
He is loving it.

yay to the the big 4

Natuurlijk als je jarig bent mag je kiezen wat je voor eten wilt en Broc wilde graag pizza, dus gaan we pizza halen.
Because it's Broc's day he is aloud to chose what he wants for dinner and he want's pizza so we picked up some pizza after swimming.

Na 't eten is ie toch wel vort moe en met al z'n monstertrucks op een rijtje langs de jump gaat ie lekker op de grond liggen.
After dinner he has had it, he is so tired he lined up all his new trucks next to his new jump and layed beside them om the floor.

De voorbereidingen - getting ready

Het is bijna zover, Broc's 4e verjaardag.
Dit jaar word 't Shaun de Sheep thema. Zo leuk mummy zit vol ideen.
De kaartjes zijn al klaar.
I's almost Broc's birthdag again.
This year we going to give it a theme. Shaun the Sheep.
The invites are already done.

Natuurlijk hoort d'r een pinata bij en die kunnen we ook makkelijk zelf maken.
Lekker kliederen met lijm en papier, daar houden we wel van.
You can't have a kids party with no pinata so we are going to make one ourselves.
Messing with sticky glue and paper we love it.

Hmmmm hoeveel laagjes zullen we d'r op doen we willen natuurlijk niet al te sterk maken zodat 't een uur duurt voordat ie barst, maar 't zou wel leuk zijn als iedereen 'n keer kan meppen toch.
Hmmmm hoeveel laagjes? we don't want to make it that strong it takes forever to bust, but we want it strong enough so everyone can have a go at it.

De Pinata is droog nu kan ie geschilderd worden. En met bolletjes wol plakken we z'n haren.
The pinata is dry and we can start putting it's hair on and paint him.
