Zon, strand en dieven - Sun, beach and thieves

Dit weekend helpt daddy poppy om een nieuwe schuur achter in de tuin te bouwen.
Laat hun maar lekker werken wij gaan gezellig naar 't strand.
Eerst even een ijsje en een broodje kopen voor lunch en dat kunnen we dan lekker op 't strand opeten.
Onderweg naar 't strand even een emmertje en een schopje kopen.
Naar 't strand zonder schop en emmer kan niet he.
Daddy is helping poppy this weekend to build a shed and while they are busy doing that mummy and Brocie are going to the beach.
Before we go to the beach we get an ice cream and a subway sandwich for luch.
On our way to the beach we buy a bucket and shovel.
Gotto have one of those when you go to the beach.

Ooh nee we hebben zo'n lol dat we helemaal niet in de gaten hebben dat de meeuwen van onze lunch aan 't smullen zijn.
Oh no we are having so much fun we don't even realize the seagulls are having a feast with our lunch.

Broc zal ze wel even een lesje leren en jaagt ze weg. 
Broc is chasing them away.

WHROUGHHHH

Broc heeft de vogels zo bij ons eten vandaan en pakt vlug z'n ijsje op zodat ze dat niet stelen, gelukkig hebben de boeven maar de helft op en we nog de andere helft van ons broodje over.
Broc got rid of the naughty birds in no time and then realized his ice cream was in danger so he quickly saved it from those thieving birds.
Luckily we still have one half of our sandwich left for lunch.

De golven hadden Broc 2x omver gegooid en dat vond ie maar niks 't water was veel te koud.
Ff lekker in de zon liggen en mensen kijken.
Broc was pushed over by the waves a couple of times and he didn't like it the water was way to cold for his liking.
He decided to have a little rest and watch people for a little while.

spelen / play time

Broc heeft t goed naar z'n zin op 't dagverblijf, als mummy hem op gaat halen laat ie 't doctors setje zien en moet mummy op de grond gaan liggen zodat ie doctertje kan spelen.
Z'n vriendje Jett ziet ons spelen door 't raam en komt vlug naar binnen om ook met ons te spelen.
Deze keer speelt Broc de zieke jongen en is Jett de doctor.
Broc loves daycare and all there toys, when mummy comes to pick him up he shows her the doctor's play set.
Then mummy has to lay on the floor and Broc plays doctor.
Jett his little mate sees us through the window and comes running in to join us in our play.
So now Broc is the patient and Jett is the Doctor.

De volgende dag komt William bij ons en gaan we leuk naar 't park.
William en Broc vinden 't samen hartstikke leuk op de grote schommel.
Then next day William is coming to spend the day with us and we go to the park.
Both of them love to play on the swing.

Mummy wil af en toe ook wel eens met een vriendin bij kletsen dus heeft ze afgesproken in 't park zodat Broc kan spelen terwijl zij bijkletsen, maar tante T vind 't ook hartstikke leuk op de schommel dus gaat ze samen met Broc gezellig schommelen.
Mummy also likes to catch up with friends so we go to the park and meet her there while Broc can play, but aunty T likes to swing on the swing as well and they both have a ball swinging.

Hard werken - working hard

't Begint s'avonds een beetje kouder te worden en dat gaat op Broc z'n borst zitten zodat ie moeilijk  kan ademen. Maar nu kan Broc wel vort z'n leuke jasje aan dat ie van tante Gertie en ome Andress heeft gekregen.
WHRAAH.
It's getting colder at night and Broc's chest gets very rattly because of it, so in the afternoon he needs a jumper on if he is outside. Lucky for him tante Gertie and uncle Andress gave him a cool jacket last year.

Broc gaat nu ook vort mee op huis visite en dat gaat goed. Hij houd zichzelf lekker bezig met een coffee (warme chocolade melk) en mummy d'r tablet.
Mummy also does house visits and today Broc is coming with her.
Before we get there we picked up a coffee (hot choclate) and that and the tablet keep him busy while mummy does her treatment.

't Is weer tijd voor wat varkens om op vakantie te gaan, dus gaan we uncle caveman een handje helpen om ze weg te brengen.
Broc helpt aunty Farm om de varkens daddy z'n kant op te jagen.
There is more piggies ready again and we are going out to farm to help bring them to their new home.
Broc helps aunty Farm chasing the piggies towards daddy so he can shut the door of the trailer.

Ze wilde eigenlijk niet zo, misschien hadden ze wel door dat de vakantie bestemming niet zo goed was als 't klonk.
Uiteindelijk zitten ze d'r dan toch in en kunnen ze vertrekken.
They weren't all that keen to get in the trailer maybe they realised it's not a good place they are moving to.
But eventually they got in so we could leave.

Bij 't resort (slachthuis) aangekomen gaan we eventjes kijken naar alle vakantie gangers.
Broc and mummy went for a look what else was there to be made into steaks.

Broc en mummy zijn weer aan 't knutselen geweest, deze keer hebben we vastgelegd hoe we samen over straat lopen. Nu hebben we voor altijd een herrinnering.
Mummy had another creative splur and we captured how we walk down the street so we always remember.

moederdag / mothersday

Sinds dat we Broc hebben komt mummy d'r verjaardag op de 2e plaats, moederdag staat op nr 1. 
En vandaag is het weer zover.
s'Morgens als we wakker worden gaat daddy druk in de weer in de keuken en als ie klaar is komt Broc vol trots mummy d'r ontbijt op bed brengen en zegt ie dat ie 't zelf gemaakt heeft.
Mummy's birthday used to be the best day of the year, but since Broc it comes second and first is mothers day.
Today it's the best day of the year again en when we wake up in the morning daddy starts getting all exited in the kitchen.
When he is finished he calls Broc and he comes and brings mummy her breakfast on bed and proudly tells her he made it.

Mummy krijgt een mooie kaart, voorleesboek en een wheatbag holder in de vorm van een koe.
Broc had al tegen mummy gezegt dat ie een koe had gekocht voor d'r, maar mummy snapt 'm nu pas.
Daddy vertelde mummy dat toen ze gingen winkelen hij had gevraagd aan Broc wat ie voor mummy wilde kopen en Broc zei een koe en toen ie deze in de winkel zag liggen moest ie 'm hebben.
Mummy got a beautiful card, a bedtime reading book and a wheat bag in cow holder.
Broc had told mummy he got her a cow for a present, but mummy didn't get it until now.
Daddy told mummy that he wanted to buy her a cow and when he saw this one there was no leaving the shop without it.

Later gingen we gezellig in 't park picnicken met Oma en Gran.
Broc wilde van alle speeltjes gebruik maken, maar bij deze moest ie toch wel wat hulp hebben.
Later we went to the park with Oma and Gran.
Broc wanted to play with everything but with some things he needed help.

Deze kon ie wel alleen, maar verder dan hier durfde ie niet.
De held.
He didn't need help with this one, but was to scared to go any further then this.

Maar van de glijbaan kon ie geen genoeg krijgen.
The slide was the favorite he couldn't get enough of it.

Als een vliegtuig gaan we terug naar onze picnick tafel.
When we walked back to have our lunch Broc and daddy played airplane.

Samen met daddy rent ie rond 't schuurtje.
Together they ran around the little shed.

Voordat we weer naar huis gaan even op de foto met de mamma's, maar Broc heeft niet zo'n zin.
Before we go home we want a photo with all the mummy's but Broc is not so willing.

We hadden een erg gezellige morgen, Broc was erg moe van 't spelen en de lange morgen dus lekker naar huis en naar bed.
It was a good morning, but Broc is very tired from playing so time to head home for an afternoon sleep.

Een nieuwe baby / A new baby

Mommy's vriendin heeft een babytje gekregen, omdat ze bij haar ouders bij ons in 't dorp was gingen we gezellig even op visite.
Broc was een beetje verlegen binnen met all vreemde mensen, maar toen we buiten waren wilde ie de baby toch wel even van dichtbij zien.
Mommy's friend just had a baby and went to visit her parents here in town, mommy really like to catch up so together we went for a visit.
Broc was a bit shy with so many new faces, but when we were back outside to go back home again he loosend up and wanted to see the baby up close.

Sinds Broc z'n tut niet meer heeft zuigt ie vort op z'n vinger en toen de baby begon te huilen stak ie z'n vinger in de baby's mond.
Ever since Broc lost his dummy he sucks on his finger. When the baby started to cry he gave him his finger to make him feel better.

alweer de laatste dag / the last day

Vanmiddag vertrekken we weer naar huis, we hebben onze hotel kamer verlaten en gaan de morgen lekker bij het zwembad door brengen. 
Broc is d'r al en als mummy aankomt komt ie aanrennen.
We are leaving this afternoon and have to move out of our hotel room so roomservice can clean it.
To kill the time we spend the whole morning at the pool.
Broc is already there and when he sees mommy he comes running.

Wat gaan we dit zwembad toch missen, Broc is zo veel zekerder geworden in 't water de afgelopen week.
Nog snel even een kiekje van de jongens.
We are so going to miss this pool, it's awsum and Broc has gotten so much better in the water in the last week.
The boys are having so much fun together.

Van al dat zwemmen word je toch best wel moe dus Broc gaat even lekker dutten.
Broc is very tired after a couple of hours in the water and is having a little rest.

De mannen zijn hun sociale leven aan 't updaten, waar is de goeie ouwe tijd van gezellig bijkletsen gebleven :)
While the man having a good old time catching up, with every one else but each other lol.

Mummy is ook moe en Broc komt gezellig bij d'r zitten om op de tablet een filmpje te kijken.
Mummy is tired also and while she has a rest Broc watches cars on the tablet.

Dan is 't lunch tijd en gaan we gezellig bij Shenanigans lunchen, gelukkig werden we snel geserveerd, want  over 2 uur vertrekt 't vliegtuig.
It's lunch time and for shits and giggles we are going to the Irish pub Shenanigans, the boys have good memories about this pub.

In 't vliegtuig heeft Broc z'n plekeje bij 't raam al weer gauw gevonden.
Back in the plane Broc is back at his favourite spot.

Deze vlucht is 't nog light buiten en kan Broc uit 't raampje kijken.
It is still daylight so Broc can have a look out of the window, he loves it and spend most of his time looking outside.

Als ie 't uitzicht zat is is de tablet d'r altijd nog.
When he has had enough he want's to watch Cars on the tablet.

dag 5 - 5th day

Vandaag is de dag waar daddy zo lang naar uitgekeken heeft.
Helicopter vissen.
Gister avond hebben ome vliegtuig van 't vliegveld afgehaald want die gaat met daddy mee.
Als we aankomen laat de piloot ons de vis tank zien met een Barramundi d'r in.
Dat is de soort vis waar ze voor gaan, die kan wel over 1.50m worden en zijn goede vechters.
Broc mag de vis een snack geven dus houd daddy hem omhoog zodat ie d'r bij kan.
Finally daddy's day has arrived.
He is going helicopter fishing.
Last night daddy picked up uncle plane from the airport, he is going fishing with daddy.
When we get there the guy shows us his fish tank with his Barra in there.
He needs a snack and Broc can give him a prawn.

Bij de helicopter word d'r 't een en ander uitgelegd en Broc luisterd vol aandacht mee.
At the helicopter they are being told about all the rules and regulations. Broc is taking it all in.

Dan mag ie ook nog even in de helicopter zitten, dat vond ie wel leuk.
And then the man says he can sit in the helicopter OMG so much fun.

Toen was 't tijd voor daddy en ome vliegtuig om te vertrekken en deden wij ze uitzwaaien.
Broc moest zo huilen want hij wilde zo graag mee.
It was time for the boys to leave on their trip so we waved them goodbye, but Broc was so upset he really liked to have gone with them.

Onderweg naar huis zagen we een road train waar Australie zo beroemd om is.
On the way home we see a real road train so exiting.

Wij gaan lekker met z'n tween zwemmen in 't golfslag bad, maar omdat dat nog niet open is gaan we eerst naar 't strandje tegenover, maar goed dat we de monster trucks bij hebben.
We are going to the golf pool today, but it's still early and it's not open yet, so first we go to the little beach across the road lucky we have the monster trucks with us.

Als 't golfslagbad eindelijk open is kunnen we in 't water.
We hebben ook een body board gepakt zodat we kunnen peddelen in de golven, maar Broc vind 't wel erg leuk in 't kinder badje.
Finally the golf pool is open and we can go into the water.
we also grabbed a free boogy board so we can peddle in the waves, but first Broc wants to play in the kids pool.

Ff een happy kiekje met z'n tween.
Happy together.

Broc vind de fonteintjes wel erg leuk van de golven in 't grote bad moest ie niks hebben.
Broc loves the little fountains, but he is not to keen on the big waves in the big pool.

s'Middags gaan we daddy weer ophalen en onderweg terug naar huis zien we de regenboog kleuren in de wolken. Jammer dat 't op de foto niet zo goed uitkomt.
After Broc's sleep it's time again to pick the boys up and on the way back home again we see the rainbow colours in the clouds. To bad the camera doesn't pick up on them properly.

Het was weer een hete dag en daddy en ome vliegtuig zijn erg verbrand dus we brengen de middag/avond weer door in 't zwembad.
Broc vind 't erg gezellig met ome vliegtuig en laat 'm niet met rust.
It was another very hot day and both of the boys where burned like a crisp so we spend the afternoon early night in the pool again.

Uiteindelijk moeten we toch een keer eten en ome vliegtuig trakteert ons met een etentje in 't hotel restaurant.
Omdat hij bij ons op 't extra bed d'r bij mag betaald ome vliegtuig de rekening. (als ik dat geweten had had ik niet 't duurste gerecht gepakt en zeker niet 't toetje haha)
But eventually we have to go and have dinner and because we don't feel like going anywhere we decide to have dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Lucky for us uncle Plane paid for us. ( I wish he had told us before hand I wouldn't have picked the dearest meal in the place lol + desert)
