Welcome in the family

The Goldies came over for the weekend. Mummy and aunty Goldie were going to run in the yearly running competition in town.
This was mummy's 5th time in 6 years and she had been looking forward to it for a while.
Broc was helping mummy with the pancakes.
Broc is the best stirer and mummy really enjoys cooking with him.
But stiring alone is not enough real cooks tastes whatever he is preparing.

Everyone sleeps in the living room and it is really good fun.
Broc decides that on the airmattress with aunty Goldie is the best spot to watch t.v.

In the morning when he wakes he finds the nuggets asleep on the swag in the living room as well and he wakes them up.
Time to play girls.
Nugget #3 doesn't mind at all she loves Broc and likes nothing more then carrying him around every where and giving him cuddles.

To soon it is time for the Goldies to go back home. Hopefully we see each other again soon.

Grannie went to aunty picture this weekend.
Aunty picture bought her a cat so she has company at home.
Mummy and Broc couldn't wait to meet the new family member, so we went for a visit as soon as she was back home.
Broc really liked Charlie, but has never seen a cat in real live so he calls him dog, dog.
Broc wants to give Charlie big hugs and cuddles, but he soon realizes that Broc is not particularly soft handed so he takes off every time Broc comes near.
Grannie holds Charlie so both of them can get to know each other.

Welkom in de familie

De Goldies kwamen logeren voor een weekendje.

Mummy and tante Goldie hadden zich ingeschreven voor een ren wedstrijd die elk jaar in 't dorp gehouden word. Dit was de 5e keer in 6 jaar dat mummy mee deed en ze had d'r erg veel zin in.

Broc hielp mummy met de pannekoeken.

Hij kan heel goed roeren en dus kan mummy z'n hulp goed gebruiken, maar Broc vind roeren alleen niet voldoende d'r moet ook geproefd worden natuurlijk.

Iedereen slaapt in de huiskamer. Uncle and Aunty Goldie op 't luchtmatrass en de 2 nuggets op de swag tussen 't matras en de bank.

Het is lekker vol binnen en erg gezellig.

Broc gaat bij aunty Goldie op 't bed liggen want daar kan ie lekker gezellig met haar t.v. kijken.

S'morgens als Broc wakker word gaat ie de meisjes wakker waken want 't is tijd om te spelen.
Nugget #3 vind dat helemaal niet erg, want die is hartstikke gek met Broc en wil maar wat graag met hem spelen en knuffelen.

Jammer genoeg was 't weekend te kort en moesten de goldies weer naar huis.

Grannie was van 't weekend niet thuis geweest, die had van aunty picture een nieuwe huis genoot gekregen en moest die dus op gaan halen.
Broc en mummy konden niet wachten om op bezoek te gaan om Charlie te leren kennen.
Broc had nog nooit geen kat in 't echt gezien en bleef maar dog, dog roepen.
Hij vond Charlie wel erg leuk en wilde graag met Charlie spelen.
Charlie was wel erg vlug en had al snel in de gaten dat Broc niet echt zachtaardig was.
Broc bedoelt 't goed en wil graag knuffelen en snapt nog niet dat als ie z'n armen dicht knijpt dat pijn doet.
Z'n knuffels kan ie lekker omhelzen en dat wil ie dus ook bij Pixi en Charlie, maar dat gaat niet.
Omdat Charlie nog geen babies gewend is ging die d'r telkens vandoor dus hield grannie 'm even vast zodat Broc en Charlie aan mekaar konden wennen.

Broc was dol enthousiast dat ie Charlie kon aanraken.

De doctor had told daddy en mummy that Broc has a hart murmur.

Apparently it was in his file and they knew about it since he was born.

From what the doctor could hear it was only a small murmur, but if we wanted to know how big it was we could get a scan done.

So mummy and daddy decided that’s what they wanted to do just to make sure that Broc was ok to go in the airplane for the big trip.

Broc was exploring in the waiting room.

 

Broc almost went under the curtain to visited a lady getting dressed, but lucky daddy was quick

Then it was time for Broc to go and get his scan done.

The nurse asked daddy if he wanted to lie on the bed with Broc on his belly. She found that was the best way to keep little bubba’s quite.

She put some slippery stuff on Broc’s chest and started the ultrasound.

First Broc thought it was a bit weird and then he spotted the t.v. and found it very interesting. Didn’t take long tho the program sucked, no colours and nice pictures to keep Broc occupied.

 

Hmmmm Giggle and Hoot is better

Lucky mummy has got a game on her mobile phone that Broc likes to play with, but because the scan took about 15 min. Broc finished playing with that before the nurse was ready.

Lucky she had a little cable that Broc could play with till she was finished.

The nurse said Broc was a very good boy and because he was so nice and quite it didn’t take her long at all.

She said she could see a hole in the hart, but murmurs could be caused by different things. So when the specialist looks at it he is going to tell Broc’s doctor and he will tell us what is going on.

Because Broc was such a good boy she gave him a sticker which mummy put on Broc’s shirt.

De doctor had daddy en mummy verteld dat Broc een ruisje in 't hart heeft.
Blijkbaar wisten ze dat al sinds z'n geboorte, maar had niemand dat ooit tegen mummy en daddy verteld.
Volgens de doctor was het erg klein en hoefde we ons nergens ongerust om te maken, maar als we precies wilde weten hoe groot 't gaatje in 't hartje was konden we Broc laten onderzoeken.
Dat gingen we dus doen, want met Broc z'n grote reis voor de boeg wilden mummy en daddy d'r toch wel zeker van zijn dat Broc veilig kan reizen.
Hier in 't dorp doen ze dat onderzoek niet dus moesten we naar de grote stad.
In de wachtkamer had Broc geen zin om rustig te blijven zitten dus ging ie rond kijken.

Broc ging bijna bij een mevrouw onder het gordijn door, gelukkig was daddy d'r net op tijd bij

Toen was 't Broc z'n beurd en mocht ie mee naar binnen.
De zuster vroeg daddy of die bij Broc op 't bed wilde liggen zodat Broc rustig zou blijven, want de echo zou ongeveer 10 tot 15 min duren.
Dat vond Daddy wel goed dus samen lagen ze daar lekker op 't bed.
Broc vond 't eerst maar raar dat slipper spul op z'n borst, maar ook wel heel interessant vooral die rare film op de t.v.

Waar is Mickey Mouse hier kan ik geen wijs uit

Na een tijdje had ie 't met de t.v wel gehad  d'r was toch geen fatsoenlijk programma op dus gingen we ff met mummy's spelen. Die heeft een spelletje speciaal voor Broc op d'r mobiel en Broc vind 't erg leuk.
Na een tijdje was daar ook wel 't leuke vanaf en gaf de zuster Broc een kabeltje waar ie mee kon spelen.

De zuster zei dat Broc zich erg goed had gedragen en daarom waren we lekker vlug klaar.
Zij kon geen gaatje vinden, maar een ruisje kan ook door andere omstandigheden voorkomen zei ze.
De specialist zou er naar kijken en die geeft de uitslag door aan de doctor die dat dan weer aan ons doorgeeft.
Omdat Broc zo flink was geweest de hele behandeling kreeg ie een sticker voor op z'n trui.

It was aunty clog’s birthday so we went to visit her.

The clog’s haven’t got any children but they do have to dogs the love just as much.

Broc knows Max and Lilly, but hasn’t seen them for a while. Because daddy always plays silly games with Max, Max got very exited that we were there and didn’t realize Broc was there as well.

Every time Broc sees a dog he calls out dog, dog, it seems to be his favourite word at the moment.

But not Pixi she is a dog to but he calls her “ee”.

Broc got a bit hungry later on and mummy had forgotten to bring a snack so aunty clog went and got some muffins.

Together with Max, Lilly and Timmie aunty clog shared some delicious muffins.

Mummy and Broc go for a walks, but now mummy has a pushbike so they can go for a ride together.

Broc specially likes the basket on the front it’s just like sitting in the shopping trolly.

Because we have to wear helmets Broc has got of his own now.

A spiderman helmet. Wow.

He is not really keen on having something on his head so mummy put hers on as well so Broc can get used to it.

At mummy’s gym is a competition going every week there is a task they can do to win a prize.

In this weeks chalange we had to do a push up in a public area and send a photo the the gym’s facebook page.

Broc helped mummy getting a funny photo.

After that we went to the caveman’s.

Uncle caveman breeds pigs and mummy and daddy had bought one for in the freezer so we went to pay for it.

Broc loves going to the farm and uncle caveman.

dog dog (nederlands)

Het was tante klomp's verjaardag dus ging we daar op visite.
De klompjes hebben geen kinderen maar 2 honden die ze als hun kinderen beshouwen.
Broc kent Max en Lilly maar heeft ze al heel lang niet meer gezien.
Omdat daddy altijd heel ruw met Max speelt was Max helemaal in 't dolle en had niet zo goed in de gaten dat Broc d'r ook was.

 Elke keer als ie een hond ziet wijst ie en roept ie dog, dog. Dat is Broc z'n nieuwe favourite woordje, alleen Pixi  noemt ie anders die is i.
Later ging tante klomp muffins halen, want Broc had een beetje honger en mummy was vergeten een snack mee te nemen.
Samen met Max, Lilly en Timmie  smulde ie lekker van z'n muffin.

Mummy heeft een nieuwe fiets gekocht zodat in plaats van wandelen met de wandelwagen we ook eens kunnen gaan fietsen.
Broc vind 't een erg leuke fiets en vind 't geweldig om voor op 't rekje te zitten.
Het lijkt net of ie in 't winkelwagentje zit.

Hier mogen we niet zonder helm fietsen dus had mummy ook voor Broc een nieuwe helm gekocht.
Broc vind 't eigenlijk helemaal niet zo leuk om wat op z'n hoofd te hebben dus samen hebben we de helm op binnen zodat Broc d'r aan kan wennen. Samen met mummy vind ie 't niet zo erg.

Op mummy d'r fitness hebben ze een competitie, elke week is d'r een chalange die je moet doen en dan moet je een foto insturen via facebook om de prijs te winnen.
Deze week moest ze een pushup doen in een publieke plaats.
Het park om de hoek was een goeie locatie en Broc hielp mummy om de foto een beetje leuk te maken.

Na de foto gingen we naar de caveman's.
ome caveman fokt varkens en we hadden een varken voor ons laten slachten en die gingen we betalen.
Altijd leuk op de farm en Broc loves his hairy uncle.

Ik denk dat we dit jaars kerstman gevonden hebben

A special day for mummy

It was mother’s day and on that day mummies are supposed to get very spoiled.

That’s just the job for Broc and daddy, because they know just what to do to spoil mummy.

After Broc woke up daddy put him in bed with mummy for lots of cuddles and kisses.

Mummy was served breakfast on bed and with the breakfast she found a little package specially wrapped for her.

Mummy helped Broc unpack and she was very happy with her bead for on her bracelet.

It’s all little children faces with on one side written Love and on the other Family.

For lunch we went out to the nursery where they serve very nice food.

Mummy had ice tea and Broc really likes that so daddy gave him a bit to drink.

Out of the straw, and Broc had never drunk out of a straw before so that was lots of fun.

Broc got some chippies and chicken nuggets, but the best bit was that it also came with a little bowl of tomato sauce.

That’s Broc’s favourite.

Broc really enjoyed his lunch and almost had a shortage of sauce.

Why would that be you wonder?

Well because a lot of it was spread all over his mouth.

After lunch Broc went to have a look at the little pond and saw that in the corner was a little fountain, so this had to be seen up close.

Thanks to Broc and daddy, mummy was spoiled rotten and had an awesome day.
