Broc en daddy doen even demonstreren hoe een tug of war gaat.
Broc and daddy show how to do a tug of war.

Oma heeft Broc een belle blaas gegeven en we gaan buiten ff bellen blazen.
Oma gives Broc some bubbles when we are back at her place and we are going outside to blow some bubbles.

Het waait wel een beetje dus oma zegt dat we 't binnen ook wel mogen doen.
Broc laat oma zien hoeveel bellen hij wel niet kan blazen.
It is very windy outside and oma tells us to come inside and blow bubbles there.
Broc show her how good he can blow bubbles.

Dan is 't oma d'r beurd en die kan 't ook goed, Broc probeerd ze op te eten.
It's oma's turn en Broc tries to eat them.

park en de boerderij / park and farm

Omdat we nog niet naar 't park geweest zijn gaan we daar ook weer eens een keer naar toe. (grapje)
Samen met mommy op de wip.
We haven't been to the park yet (just kidding) so off we go.
With mommy on the sea saw.

Met Birke en Magnus op de grote schommel en tante mama Beer doet hoog duwen.
On the big swing with Birke and Magnus. Momma Bear pushes them really high.

Magnus en Birke hebben een tante die op een melk boerderij woont.
Ze hebben 't nieuwste van 't nieuwste daar en we gaan een kijkje nemen hoe dat nu allemaal gaat zo automatish.
Magnus and Birke's aunty has a milk farm with all the latest gadgets to milk, clean etc etc.
We are invited to come over to have a look.

Na de traumatishe ervaring van de kip die loopt te schreeuwen (hahaha de haan kraaide toen Broc langs liep en hij schrok zich kapot. Hij wist niet dat 't een haan was dus noemde ie 't een kip) komt 't hondje ook even kennis maken.
After the traumatic experience of the chicken that yells (hahaha the rooster crowed when Broc walked past, it scared the hell out of him and he didn't know that is was a rooster so he called it a chicken) the dog came over to say hello.

Birke en Magnus hun tante is ook helemaal paardegek en als we bij de paardjes zijn mag Birke d'r boven op.
Birke and Magnus aunt loves horses so when we get there Birke is aloud to sit on one of them.

Dat was erg interesant op die boerderij we zijn weer heel wat wijzer.

Photo shoot

Wat zijn wij toch een bofkonten.
Pappa Beer is the beste fotograaf en gaat vandaag family photo's van ons maken.
Opa en Oma komen ook mee en we gaan gezellig naar 't bos.
Helaas heeft Broc andere ideen en heeft helemaal geen zin om op de foto te gaan.
We are such lucky buggers, daddy bear is the best photographer and he is going to make a family shoot from us.
Opa and Oma are coming as well and we are going to the forest.
But Broc has different ideas, he doesn't want to go on the photo and cries and cries.

Mommy probeert 't goed te praten, maar blij is ie niet.
Mommy is trying to smooth talk him, but he is not taking it.

Dan gaan we op de grote stoel en Broc en Mommy gaan gekke gezichten trekken
There is a big bench in the park we go and sit on it and make silly faces.

Broc probeert aan daddy z'n voeten te hangen zodat ie hem omhoog kan trekken, de inspanning is goed maar de spiertjes zijn net niet sterk genoeg.
Broc tries to pull himself up on daddy's legs, but he is not strong enough.

Voordat we gaan luchen even een groeps foto.
Before we go we make a familie photo.

Als we weer terug naar de auto lopen maakt pappa beer stiekem nog wat foto's van ons.
When we walk back to the car daddy bear takes some more photo's.

Het is best een eindje lopen en Broc is moe en wil op Mommy d'r rug.
It's a bit of a walk back to the car and Broc is tired so he asks if he can go on mommy's back.

Maar Broc is niet gek hij heeft goed in the gaten dat papa beer foto's aan 't maken is.
But Broc isn't silly he knows daddy bear is taking photo's.

Voordat opa weer terug moet naar 't verzorgings tehuis gaan we met z'n allen een frietje eten.
Broc heeft een lekkere frikandel en een bord vol frietjes.
Lekker smullen.
Before opa goes back to the rehabilitation centre we're having some dinner.
Broc has a delicious dutch sausage and a plate full of chips.

En als toetje een lekker ijsje
And a ice cream for desert.

de laatste dag in de efteling - our last day in the park

Al 't goede komt tot een eind en jammer genoeg ook aan ons verblijf in de efteling.
Wat een plezier hebben we hier.
Op de laatste dag komt de berenboel ook gezellig met ons mee.
All good things come to an end and unfortunatly our holliday in the amusement park is almost over.
We had such a good time.
The bear family is coming as wel today.

Vandaag is de opening van Pinocio en natuurlijk gaan we daar een kijkje nemen.
Onderweg komen we langs een voorstellen en daar gaan we eens lekker voor zitten.
Broc vind 't erg grappig en lacht om de gekke wolf en z'n streken met de draak.
There is a new attraction in the fairy tale forest, Pinoccio, and the opening is today.
On our way up there we walk past a show so we are going to watch it.
Broc has a good laugh with the silly fox and the drake.

Op 't eind kunnen de kinderen mee dansen en zingen Birke en Magnus zijn van de party, maar Broc blijft liever zitten.
In the end the kids can come up stage for singing and dancing. Magnus and Birke are keen, but Broc rather stays with us and watch.

Dan komen we eindelijk bij Pinokkio aan en hij zit gevangen in de vis z'n mond.
We finally get to Pinoccio and find him in the fishes mounth.

D'r is een leuk muziekje en de straat katten komen voorzichtig uit de tonnen om te kijken of de kust veilig is.
The music with the attraction is fun and the street cats are going up and down in the drums to check if the coast is clear.

We hebben Broc al 4 dagen beloofd dat we in de trein gaan. Het regent en 't is koud, maar we gaan d'r toch in want beloofd is beloofd en Broc vind 't geweldig.
We promised Broc we would go in the train, it's a bad day today it's cold and it rains, but it's the last day if we don't do it now we miss out and Broc really wants to go so off we go.
Broc is having a ball even if we freeze our buts of.

Bye Bye Efteling we will miss you.

Bezoek van Klaas Vaak - the Sand man comes to visit

We gaan uit weer gezellig uit eten 't is hier zo lekker dat we 't niet kunnen laten.
Als we op ons eten zitten te wachten komt ineens Klaas vaak het restaurant ingelopen.
Hij komt ook bij ons aan tafel een praatje maken.
Wat gezellig.
We are going out for dinner again it is to good to stay at home and cook.
While we are sitting there waiting for our dinner the Sand man shows up and comes over for a chat.

Net voordat we ons toetje krijgen gaat Klaas vaak aan de kinderen een verhaaltje vertellen, omdat we ons toetje toch nog niet hebben gaan Broc en mommy samen even kijken.
Just before we get desert the Sand man is having a little show next door.
We quickly go to check it out.

Als we terug komen is Broc z'n toetje klaar.
Hij mag mee naar de tafel om zelf z'n toetje in mekaar te zetten.
Broc krijgt een koks muts en gaat aan de slag.
When we come back Broc's desert is ready to go.
He can take his ice cream to a table to put all sorts of mjam things on it.
He also get a cooks heat to complete the experience.

nootjes, chocolade, sprinkels fruit, 't kan niet gek genoeg
nuts, chocolate, sprinkels, fruit to much to choose

Nog even op toppen met chocolade saus.
Top it up with some choclate saus.

En nu maar lekker smullen.
mjam a desert made for kings.

Met een vol buikje kan ie lekker naar bed.
Off to bed with a full tummy.

de berenboel komt ook / the bear family comes as well (maart 2016)

Wat later in de dag komt de Berenboel ook, Birke moet eerst naar school en dan komen ze gezellig naar ons.
Samen met Birke kijkt Broc wat d'r bij de bank achter 't raampje te zien valt.
After Birke finishes school the Bear family comes to visit us in the park.
There is a little window in the eftpos machine and when it opens up there is a catchy tune.
Together they go and check it out.

We lopen weer langs holle bolle Gijs en nu weet Broc wat ie doet dus vind ie ergens een papiertje en geeft 't aan hem.
We walk past another big guy that asks for you to bring your rubish.
This time Broc knows what to do and he gives him some paper that was laying around.

Dan is 't Birke d'r beurd die wil ook.
Birke also wants to give the fat fellow some rubish so she found something to give him as well.

Broc en Birke kunnen 't samen toch zo goed vinden en samen gaan ze gezellig met daddy in de walvis.
Broc and Birke are the best of friends, they just love to hang out together.
So when Broc and daddy are going into the whale she comes with them.

Gezellig op 't muurtje kijken naar de bootjes die naar beneden komen.

En dan gaan de kinders gezellig bij mij in de carnaval en daddy gaat bij tante Berenboel en Magnus.
This time the kids are coming in the ride with mommy and daddy goes with Magnus and aunty bear

Ogh kijk toch eens een geitje van de 7 geitjes is ontsnapt en loopt gezellig rond op de efteling.
Birke gaat d'r even een praatje mee maken, maar Broc blijft mooi op een afstandje de boel te bekijken.
Look here is one of the 7 goats he is going around the park talking to the kids.
Birke is all in for a have a chat, but Broc is not to keen he rather stands and watches from a distance.

Deze jonge hier heeft een ezeltje bij wie dat is weet ik niet, maar tante berenboel en Birke vinden 'm zo leuk dat ze d'r mee op de foto willen.
This guy here has a donkey with him, I don't know who that is but Birke and aunty Bear liked him that much they both wanted to go on the pickture with him.

sprookjes bos / fairy tale forest part 2 (march 2016)

Het is zo mooi in 't sprookjes bos, Broc vind 't geweldig en als we bij de grote paddestoelen aankomen rent ie d'r snel heen om d'r doorheen te gaan.
It is so much fun in the fairytale forest, as we are walking over the pathways we arrive at a mushroom house.
Broc loves it and goes and checks it out on the inside.

Het is wel een beetje donker binnen en zo helemaal alleen is ie d'r nog niet zo zeker van of dat wel een goed idee was om helemaal alleen te gaan. Snel rend ie d'r door heen om weer bij ons te zijn.
The mushrooms are a little bit dark inside and suddenly Broc is not to sure if it was wise to explore all that by himself. Quickly he came running back to mommy and daddy.

Dat was ook leuk hier zitten de kaboutertjes onder boomstronk. Deze boom lijkt wel een beetje op een tak die we thuis op een plankje hebben staan. Die heeft mommy ook nog ooit eens een gemaakt.

This is cool the gnomes live under this tree.

We komen weer bij een andere boom aan en gelukkig zit d'r hier geen bibberende steen waar je per ongeluk op gaat staan.
Deze boom zit vol verhaaltjes en Broc vind 't wel leuk om d'r naar te luisteren.
We arrive at another tree, this one hasn't got a scary stone in front of him, but it is full of story's, Broc likes to sit down and listen to a couple.

Gezellig met z'n drieen luisteren naar de boom jammer dat daddy d'r alleen niks van verstaat.
We listen to the story's what a petty daddy doesn't understand a word of it. It's all dubble dutch to him :)

Broc was ondeugend bij repelsteeltje was een oud mannetje door 't raampje van de deur aan 't kijken, hij was nieuwsgierig en ging achter het hekje om door ook 't raampje van de deur te kijken, maar hij had niet in de gaten dat dat mannetje beweegd en dichter bij 't deurtje komt om te kloppen. Hij schrok zich een hoedje toen 't mannetje op 'm af kwam en wist niet hoe snel ie weg moest rennen. Hij bleef wel vort mooi voor de hekjes.
Broc was a bit naughty he was curious to see what the old man was seeing through the door at Rumpelstilskin house and he climbed the fence to have a look for himself. The old man started to move towards the door and gave Broc such a fried he thought the old man was going to get him.
needles to say he stayed in front of the fences after that.

Weer zo'n mooie boom, te mooi om geen plaatje van te schieten.
Another one of those cool trees, so another photo.

Ssssst de reus ligt te slapen hopelijk word ie niet wakker van klein duimpje.
Ssssst quite the big giant is asleep, hopefully Tom Thumb doesn't wake while he tries to steel his boots.

We zijn in een groot veld aangekomen en d'r is een mooi fontijntje met een goude balletje Broc vind 't maar wat interesant dat 't water de bal in de lucht houd.
We arrive at a big open space with a large fountain. Broc find's it very interesting that the big golden ball is kept up in the air by the water.

Maar 't leukst van dit pleintje zijn toch wel de duiven. Ze zijn zo tam maar net niet tam genoeg dat Broc ze te pakken kan krijgen.
Hij vind 't wel erg leuk dat ze van 'm schrikken als ie naar ze toe rent en boe roept.
Broc likes the pigions best and they have all sorts of funny colours, pink, bleu, green, purple and normal.
Broc tries to grab them, but they just won't allow him to come close enough so he runs to them and yells bhooo and then laughs when they fly away.
