Wet and wild

Broc had een geweldige dag gehad gister bij poppy en was erg verwend.
Hij was zo moe s'avonds dat ie uit zichzelf tegen poppy zei "night night poppy" en hij ging naar bed.
Vanmorgen was ie al weer vroeg wakker en klaar voor een dagje in 't water park.
Voordat we in 't water gaan eerst een foto van Broc in de zwemkleren die die van oma had gekregen.
Broc had an awsum time yesterday while mummy and daddy were at the wedding.
Poppy spoiled him all day. He was so tired that by the end of the day he said to poppy "night night" and went to bed himself.
The next morning he was up early and ready to go to the water park.

D'r waren vanallerande glijbanen en samen met daddy gingen ze op de toren zodat ze van de glijbaan af konden.
Terwijl ze stonden te wachten speelde Broc met 't stuur op 't platformpje.
There were all sorts of slides and together with daddy climbed up to go down of one.
While they were waiting in line Broc played with the steering wheel on the fence.

Oeps daddy mocht niet mee en Broc durfde zelf niet dus kwamen ze weer naar beneden.
In het zwembad gedeelte had Broc een gaatje in de vloer gevonden waar water uit kwam.
Oeps daddy wasn't aloud to go down these slides they were only for kids, but Broc dindn't want to go by himself so they came back down again.
In the pool area Broc found a little hole in the ground. It pumped water back into the pool after being filtered and it had got his interest he kept going back to it to feel the water come out of it.

Daddy had een behoorlijke kater overgehouden van de bruiloft gister, maar poelien in 't water kon ie goed.
Daddy had a pretty bad hangover from the night before, but bobbing in the pool seemed to do him good.

Broc had erg veel lol met dit water ding hij bleef 't water maar volgen dat d'r doorheen stroomde en maakte brom geluiden also d'r boten door aan 't varen waren.
Broc loved playing with this thing pretending he was a boat going through the water.

Van deze glijbanen durfde Broc wel af. Ze waren open en mummy stond onderaan op hem te wachten tot ie naar beneden kwam.
Wat een lol hier is ie wel 20x vanaf geweest.
This was a slide Broc was game enough to go down by himself en he must have been going up and down from this thing about 20x.

En nu is 't aftellen geblazen voordat we op vakantie gaan dus heeft mummy een paasboom gemaakt en mag Broc elke dag een eitje uitkiezen tot we vertrekken.
And now the countdown has begun. 9 more sleeps before we go on holliday.
Mummy made an easter tree and Broc can have one egg a day till the day we go.

poppy z'n caravan / poppy's caravan

Mummy heeft een client die haar dochterje van 2 altijd meeneemt en nu Broc ook vort op 't werk is konden ze samen gezellig spelen.
Omdat ze 't met z'n tween zo goed konden vinden dachten we dat 't wel gezellig zou zijn als we afspraken in de speeltuin nadat we afgewerkt waren.
Samen in de truck hadden ze erg veel lol, Broc reed ze overal heen waar ze heen wilde.
One of mummy's clients always takes her little girl with her and because Broc is there now also they could play toghether.
They were having so much fun we decided to catch up in the park so they could play some more.
They had a ball in the truck and she let Broc drive her everywhere.

We wilde een foto van ze samen op de glijbaan maken dus Broc zat te wachten tot ze eindelijk eens naar beneden kwam.
We wanted to take a photo of them on the slide, so Broc was sitting patiently till she finally came down.

Dat weekend hadden mummy en daddy weer een bruiloft, het was niet ver bij poppie vandaan dus deed die op Broc passen terwijl mummy en daddy gingen feesten.
Poppy heeft een caravan voor achter de trike gekocht en die hadden we nog niet gezien.
Broc vond 't geweldig die mini caravan en samen gingen ze d'r lekker in liggen.
Heey t.v. poppy zet die eens aan.
We had another wedding that weekend and because it wasn't far from poppies place we stayed there for the night and poppy could look after Broc for the night..
Poppy bought a littel caravan for behind the trike and Broc loved it.
When they both layed in it Broc spotted the t.v. so poppy had to turn it on.

Achter in de caravan zitten leuke raampjes waar je gekke gezichten mee kunt maken.
The van has a couple of cute little windows in the back and Broc figured he could make funny faces.

Kom poppy ook met die grote neus tegen 't raam aan.

Mummy strijkt nooit niks en daddy vond dat z'n bloes wat te gekreukt was dus had ie de strijkplank en 't strijkijzer tevoorschijn gehaald.
Ondertussen was Broc bij de piano aan 't spelen.
Mummy never does the ironing and daddy's shirt was very wrinkled from sitting in the bag so he decited to give it a go himself.
Broc was playing with the piano while daddy was fiddling with his shirt.

bruiloft / wedding

Tante camera en ome Sport gaan trouwen en wij zijn van de party.
Daddy en Broc staan d'r netjes op en dat wil mummy natuurlijk ff vast leggen.
Aunty Camera and uncle Sport are getting married and we are there to help celebrate.
Daddy and Broc are looking so hansum mummy took some picktures.

Poppy ziet d'r ook erg sjiek uit in z'n pak.
Poppy wanted on the photo as well.

Dan ff op de foto met mummy die wil ook wel een foto van samen terwijl we d'r mooi uitzien.
And of course mummy wanted one to while looking all done up.

Oma was d'r ook bij dus hoppa ook mee op de foto.
And guess what Oma was there as well so click another pickture.

Het was een mooie locatie hoog op de bergen met als achtergrond de gold coast.
The back vieuw from the house was beautifull.
The house was up high in the mountains overlooking the gold coast.

Tijdens de ceremonie stond Broc langs poppy.
Langs poppy was de eet tafel dus dat was lekker makkelijk.
De aardbeien en water meloen gingen d'r wel in.
While the ceremonie was on Broc stood next to poppy.
He was standing next to the food table and Broc was hungry.
Strawberries and water melon mjam.

Broc vond 't ook wel erg leuk om bij poppies vriendin op schoot te zitten.
Poppies girlfriends lap was a good place to sit as well.

Terwijl ze alle officiele papieren aan 't tekenen waren zaten mummy en Broc gezellig met z'n tween op de grond te spelen.
While they were signing all the official paperwork, mummy and Broc sat on the ground playing.

Het officele gedeelte is over nu kan 't feest beginnen.
The official stuff is over Lets Party.

Tante Camera's getuige / bruids meisje heeft een dochtertje en Broc en Ruby kunnen 't samen erg goed vinden.
Ze delen ook dezelfde interessen, water en ijs blokjes.
Broc viel bijna in 't ijs terwijl ie aan 't spelen was.
Aunty Camera's brides made has a little girl and Broc and Ruby get on like a house on fire.
They discovered the bath tubs with ice and started playing with it.
Broc almost fell in.

Dat mocht de pret niet drukken en d'r werd gewoon lekker verder gespeeld.
But of course that didn't ruin the fun and they just kept on playing.

Later lagen ze lekker bij te kletsen op de zonnebedden aan de andere kan van 't terras.
From all that playing you get very tired so they layed on the sun beds for a while.

En toen de muziek begon te spelen moest d'r natuurlijk ook gedansd worden.
And when the music started they had a dance together.

Het was een erg gezellige avond en de volgende morgen hadden we de film kamer gevonden.
Broc was erg onder de indruk van 't grote scherm en vond 't geweldig.
Hij had de film robot's 3x achter mekaar gekeken.
It was a very fun night and the next moring we found the media room.
Broc loved the big screen and wanted to watch a movie.
He loved it so much he watched Robot's 3x in a row.

zwemmen blijft leuk / always fun to go to the pool

Broc vind water wel leuk maar meer om in te spelen. Hij is d'r niet zo dol op als 't water over z'n hoofd gaat en daardoor gaat het zwemmen niet zo heel erg vooruit, dus dacht mummy dat 't mischien wel een goed idee was als ie wat vaker gaat zwemmen.
Gezellig gingen we dus met z'n tweetjes naar 't zwembad in 't dorp.
Broc loves the water, but he doesn't like getting wet in the face, so that sets him behind with his swimming.
Because of this mummy thought it would be a good idea if we go to the pool more often so we can play as well as learn.
So of we went to the pool.

D'r was een feestje dus 't was best wel druk en Broc vond de boogy board erg interessant.
They had a party and Broc loved watching the kids with their boogy boards.

Omdat Broc 't zo goed deed gingen we de volgende dag weer en terwijl we samen 't zwemmen aan 't oefenen waren kwam daddy binnen geslopen, die was thuis druk aan 't werk in de shuur, maar kon de verleiding om met Broc te zwemmen niet weerstaan.
Broc vond 't erg leuk dat daddy d'r ook bij was.
Because Broc did so well we went again the next day and when we were practising our kicking and peddeling daddy came in also.
Daddy was working at home in shed, but he could resist missing out on all the pool fun.

Broc had van de kerstman een boogie board gekregen en dus hadden we die meegenomen.
Santa gave Broc a boogy board for xmas so we had that with us this time.

Nu oma ziek is en niet meer voor Broc kan zorgen moet ie vort met mummy mee naar 't werk.
Vandaag kwam little Kanwellie ook mee want zijn mommy moest werken.
Dat was gezellig voor Broc kon ie lekker met iemand spelen.
Because oma is sick she can't look after Broc no longer while mummy is at work and so he has to come along.
Little Canwellie's mommy had to work so he was staying with us for the day, that was fun and Broc had a playmate at work.

dagje ziekenhuis op valentijns dag / A day of hospital visits on valentine's day

Ome Caveman heeft een hartaanval gehad en voordat ie geopereerd word gaan we op visite in 't ziekenhuis.
Net voordat we willen vertrekken belt Gran en zegt dat ze denkt dat Oma een hersen bloeding gehad heeft, dus daddy springt meteen in de auto en rijd naar d'r toe.
Mummy doet Broc snel een onderbroek aan en gooit Broc z'n kleren in een tas en dan gaan wij ook.
We zijn d'r voor de ambulance en oma ziet d'r gelukkig goed uit, maar heeft problemen met praten en met d'r rechtse kant.
Hier in 't ziekenhuis denken ze dat ze beter behandeld kan worden in een ander stadje dus word ze daarheen gebracht.
Voordat ze gaat wil Broc nog wel ff een knuffel geven.
Uncle Caveman has had a heart attack and before he has his bypass we want to go and visit him in hospital.
Just before we are leaving Gran rings and tells daddy that it sounds like Oma has had a stroke, so daddy jumps in the car straight away to check her out.
Mummy puts some undies on Broc and throws his clothes in a bag and then we go to Oma as well.
The ambulance picks her up a little later and takes her to the hospital, there they want her to go to another hospital and before she leaves Broc gives her a big cuddle.

Als oma weg is gaan we toch nog naar ome Caveman. Het is 2 uur rijden, maar Broc slaapt een beetje in de auto.
In 't ziekenhuis hebben ze een eend waar je geld in kunt stoppen om te doneren, maar Broc denkt dat de eend op en neer gaat als je d'r centjes in doet en gaat d'r op zitten.
After Oma has left we decide to go and see uncle Caveman any way. It is a 2 hour drive, but Broc has a little kip in the car.
They have a big duck in the hospital where you can donate money into, but Broc thinks it is a ride and climbs on it.

De eend doet 't dan wel niet maar d'r is wel een ander donatie ding wat leuk is, als je hier centjes in doet dan rold 't muntje heel lang rond totdat ie uiteindelijk in 't gaatje valt.
The duck doesn't do anything, but there is another thing and when you put money in it the money spins around for a long time before it falls into the hole.

Ome Caveman ziet d'r ook heel goed uit Broc gaat gezellig bij ze zitten voor de foto.
Uncle Caveman looks really good and Broc sits with them for a photo.

Omdat mummy en daddy vandaag 16 jaar bij mekaar zijn heeft mummy als verassing een tafel in 't nieuwe restaurant gereseveerd en daarna een filmpje.
Als we thuis komen zijn oom en tante klomp d'r al, want die doen vanavond op Broc passen.
Ze zijn al lekker aan 't koken en Broc gaat meteen meehelpen.
Because mummy and daddy are together for 16 years mummy has organised a surprise dinner and movie for tonight.
When we get home uncle and aunty Clog are already there busy cooking dinner for them and Broc.
As soon as Broc sees them he drags out the chair and starts helping uncle Clog.

Spageti maken is toch wel erg leuk en ome Klomp is d'r erg goed in.
Making pasta is a lot of fun and uncle Clog is very good at it.

Dan is 't Broc z'n beurd om 't deeg door de machine te draaien.
Broc also gets a turn in rolling the pasta through the machine.

Als toetje heeft tante Klomp een piraten cake gemaakt, Broc vind 't geweldig.
Aunty Clog made a pirate cake for desert and Broc loves it.

Broc is in goed handen en mummy en daddy kunnen met een gerust hart een avondje uit.

een nieuwe fiets / a new bike

Broc is vort groot genoeg voor een echte fiets, dus mummy en daddy namen 'm mee naar de winkel om een fiets te kopen.
Samen met daddy zet ie 'm thuis in mekaar.
Broc is big enough now for a real pushbike, so mummy and daddy took him shopping for one.
Back home he helps daddy putting the bike together.

Bijna klaar nog even 't karton d'r af halen en 't stuur en 't zadel op maat zetten.
Broc kan niet wachten om d'r op te zitten.
Almost there. Getting rid of the cardboard and adjusting the steering and the seat and we are ready to go.

Eindelijk klaar en nu kan ie fietsen.
In 't begin was 't een beetje eng, maar als snel had ie in de gaten hoe 't moest en fietste ie zo een eind weg.
Hij heeft z'n nieuwe fiets ook een naam gegeven Lightning McQueen en roept Kachow.
Finaly his bike is finished.
A little scary to begin with, but soon he is of backwards and forwards on the driveway.
He called his bike Lighting Mcqueen and yells out Kachow while he is riding it.

Een paar dagen later gingen we met de Kanwellies naar de film.
Penguins van Madagascar.
Hij moest zo hard lachen dat ie iedereen aan 't lache maakte met zijn aanstekelijk lachje.
Mummy had voor ons een bak popcorn gekocht, maar Broc vond 't zo lekker dat ie niet wilde delen en had bijna de hele bak alleen opgegeten.
A couple of days later we went to see the penguins of Madagascar with the Canwellies.
Broc is laughing so loud every one else laughs with him.
Mummy bought us some popcorn, but Broc was't keen in sharing and eat most of it himself.

Die middag na 't slaapje gingen we naar 't park met de fiets, daar kon ie op 't fietspad tenminste fatsoenlijk fietsen.
We went to the park that afternoon after his sleep. We took the bike with us and on the bike/walking path he could have a decent crack at cycling.

Een paar dagen later hadden we een afspraak met de spraakles mevrouw.
Broc doet 't goed elke dag horen we nieuwe woordjes en hij begint ook vort goed zinnen te maken.
De mevrouw was erg onder de indruk en nu moeten we de woordjes die met F en S beginnen oefenen want daar heeft ie een beetje problemen mee.
Eindelijk praat ie ons vort na dus dat zal wel lukken.
A couple of days later we had another appointment with the speech therapy.
Broc is doing really wel, every day we hear more words and he is also putting sentences together.
The speech lady is very impressed and told us that now we have to focus on the words that start with an F or S, because Broc is having some trouble with them.
