de eerste dag / the first day

Vanmorgen gaan we even gezellig 't dorp in om te kijken wat d'r allemaal te doen is, maar eerst ff ergens ontbijten.
Broc deelt z'n milkshake (een beetje) met daddy.
This morning we are going to explore and see what we can do here in Darwin, we start of with breakfast and Broc shares his shake milk with daddy (only a bit).

Nadat we bij 't informatie kantoor zijn geweest gaan we naar 't strand.
Ze hebben een hartstikke leuk inhammetje van de oceaan afgezet hier, dus we zijn veilig van de krokodillen.
After the information centre we are going to the beach.
They made a safe zone here from the crocs and it is awsum.

D'r is hier vanalles te doen zo te zien, maar vandaag gaan we alleen maar even pootje baden.
It looks like a lot of fun here.

Terug bij 't hotel hebben ze een geweldig gaaf zwembad en we hebben een noodle gekocht op de terug weg dus die nemen we lekker mee.
Mummy had ook nieuwe slippers en Broc wilde ze perse aan naar 't zwembad.
On the way home from town we bought a noodle for Broc for in the pool and mummy got herself some flip flops. On his way to the pool Broc had to wear mummy's new thongs.

Met z'n drien hebben we 't goed naar ons zin in 't bij badje.
We are having a lot of fun in the pool with the 3 of us.

s'Avonds gaan we weer gezellig uit eten en daarna gaan we weer terug in 't zwembad.
Het is hier zo ongelooflijk heet en benauwd we zijn maar wat blij met dat zwembad.
Deze keer heeft Broc ook een zonnestoel te pakken genomen.
We going out again for dinner and after that we jump back into the pool.
It is so humid here we are not used to it, we will be in the pool a lot this holliday.
Broc found himself a sun lounge to lay in.

We hebben 't hele bad voor onszelf wat een luxe.
We have got the whole pool to ourselfs how lucky is that.

Moe van al 't zwemmen en de hitte waar we niet aan gewend zijn slapen we goed vanacht.
We sleep well tonight tired from swimming most of the day and the heat that we are not used to.
